East Tech Class of 1979 Reunion

All Alumni Picnic is Coming (Today, see post below with flyer image)

This year the Association will be conducting a CLASS DESSERT CONTEST.  If you think that your class has dessert making skills, feel free to enter the contest.  There will be a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize for the best tasting dessert.  The registration form is located on our website (http://easttech-alumni.org/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/etaa_class_dessert_registration.pdf). All proceeds raised from the contest will benefit the 2010 scholarship recipients.

Congratulations are in store for Class of 1977’s very own Ms. Charlise Lyles
Ms. Lyles’ magazine that she founded over 10 years ago, Catalyst Ohio, won the 2009 Clarion award from the National Association for Women in Communications.  Catalyst was given this honor for their series of reports titled ‘Early education: Neediest mom and kids miss out’, which were published September 2008.  The series also received the 2009 Press Club of Cleveland award.
